Not Christian?

18 Feb

Well the Popus Maximus has spoken.

Pope Francis stands in front of an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe as ...

Donald Trump is, “no Christian”.   So says the ‘man in purple’,  the Pope.

Nothing new.  Christians attacking Christians.  Specifically, the Roman Catholic church attacking and murdering thousands of otherwise innocent men, women, and children.  Other Christians.  Just ask the martyrs of the Rhineland massacres, the Erfurt massacre, or the peasants of Steding.  The Albigensians.  The Thirty Years’ War.

Then this:

  • Catholics slay Gaspard de Coligny, a Protestant leader. After murdering him, the Catholic mob mutilated his body, “cutting off his head, his hands, and his genitals… and then dumped him into the river […but] then, deciding that it was not worthy of being food for the fish, they hauled it out again [… and] dragged what was left … to the gallows of Montfaulcon, ‘to be meat and carrion for maggots and crows’.”

  • 17th century: Catholics sack the city of Magdeburg/Germany: roughly 30,000 Protestants were slain. “In a single church fifty women were found beheaded,” reported poet Friedrich Schiller, “and infants still sucking the breasts of their lifeless mothers.”

  • 17th century 30 years’ war (Catholic vs. Protestant): at least 40% of population decimated, mostly in Germany.  Casualties and losses?  8,000,000 including civilian casualties.  And this was during the 17th century!

No.  Nothing new here.

Now we have this “man in the purple robe” telling Americans that we can no longer maintain our own borders?

Not a Christian?  Who is not a Christian:

  • He has gone political, so let him (and his church) die politically.  Since he can now see into Donald Trumps heart, and ‘publicly’ declare that he is no Christian, perhaps what he is telling us is that he, himself, is not a Christian.

What is it that Jesus said?

Judge not lest ye be judged?

For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?  Maybe this ‘man’ should stay in his Vatican and open its gates to the hoards first!

Yes, his own Vatican walls should come down first.

Maybe this Popus Maximus from South America should crack his Bible open.  Just every once in a while?

Meanwhile, prepare.  Do not listen to this Bozo.  Do not listen to the hype.  Continue to prepare for the hoards this ‘man’ from So. America would visit upon you, and your family.

Towards the back of the book, rev. Henry Halley, lists everything the popes (plural) were doing. None, were good men. http://www.amazon.com/Halleys-Bible-Handbook-Henry-Halley/dp/0310402301

In my opinion, only Pope John Paul-II, was the best pope in the history of the Catholic Church. This new pope is political and the Catholic Church should lose the tax exempt 503C status it enjoys.

Also… Was this current pope involved in an Argentine murder scandal: https://riflemaniiijournal.wordpress.com/2016/02/18/donald-j-trump-response-to-the-pope/

If I had any faith in that cult, I would wonder how someone like this could ever achieve this position.

Have a lot of friends that are devout followers of this cult. Damn good people, some that grew up in same Southern Baptist church as I did, where the King James Bible was the reference. Asked how they can follow this BS and I’d been better off poking a hornets nest….nothing about it is biblical that I can see…

You are right and many people have died because of that exact sentiment. That said, I will be happy to share that foxhole with you.

What are you thinking?
