By now, most people know that the Washington & Lee University has decided to cave under pressure from five or six black students, called the “Committee”.

University President,  Ken Ruscio. has decided to have General Robert E. Lee’s eight regimental Confederate battle flags removed from the Lee Chapel.  Ruscio, from New Jersey, knows nothing outside of Unions, Mafia, Crime, Filth and Poverty.  “That Man” attended the Maxwell School of Syracuse University.  In New York!   How could rector Philip Norwood (formerly of Trammel Crow Co) have picked this loser?

“Ken Ruscio is a perfect match between his considerable talents, character, and background and the needs of the institution that he will serve.  Ken shares the same passion for W&L of all alumni and an appreciation for the traditions and core values it has developed since 1749.” ~ Philip W. Norwood

Well, he sure made a liar out of our Mr. Norwood.

Find my brief letter to the ‘Carpet Bagger’ below:

Let me congratulate you.  Living up to your New Jersey roots, you have almost succeeded in failing.

Norwood should have known better than to go outside (New Jersey) for the position.

Can the University live on five students? The Committee?

Take the ‘Lee’ out of your University’s name, and give back the land to the family, or the people (via private ownership) of Virginia. Even if it is in the center of the property.  Do something (one thing) honorable before you leave.

And leave you now must.  Enrollment will prove this to be the case.

So, congratulations on destroying another part of America.

Norwood should have known…

That carpet bagger (Ruscio) couldn’t shine Robert E. Lee’s aide’s boots.  On his best day!

Well done Soffitrat, I think I will write him also. Maybe they think they can survive off of funding from the United Negro College Fund. It appears that is where they are headed once they destroy a large part of the history of Lexington and the State of Virginia.

I had the distinct pleasure and honor of visiting General Lees’ office & resting place, the grave of General Stonewall Jackson, the Virginia Military Institute and other sites in and around Lexington. It’s an experience I’ll always remember even though it is being destroyed by a malicious and selfish race that has contributed almost nothing of importance to the heritage of this country compared to those few Honorable men of Lexington. Yet they demand so much. Seems like Ruscio has continued that long ago war in his own way by removing from public display the battle flags of Mr. Lee. Ruscio has joined forces with the useful idiots of the “committee” to rewrite history to soothe their own feelings of worthlessness.

A very false sense of importance. Ruscio (what kind of name is that?) won’t last 10 minutes if this economy fails. People will go hunting for his ass. If only for payback. They wanted the blacks. Let them take them. Put them in Syracuse or their other Universities ‘for free’ if they want. They’ve lost almost everything they ever had already. Might as well close down their Universities next. Just leave ours alone.

Everyone wants to deny history and rewrite it to suit them is what really pisses me off. Our forefathers made great sacrifices, they wrote that history in their blood.

Exactly how dumb do you have to be to intentionally attend a school called Washington & Lee and then be offended Lee’s heritage is all over the campus?

The morons should have been summarily expelled for even raising the issue.

Very good point militialaw! As for expelling the six turds, we all know why that didn’t happen. School officials are afraid of the NAACP and the SPLC.

I would imagine these activist students see college as a try out for jobs with the NAACP or whoever. This will be a big highlight on their resumes.

What resumes? Don’t need one to work there!

          Don’t need an education, either

If I ran the university, I’d make it a mandatory part of the admission process to write an essay explaining in no less than 4 typewritten, single spaced pages, “Why I Admire Generals Washington and Lee.”

I said that Norwood didn’t bother to vett the clown from Jersey. If they had to write a paper that long, they wouldn’t be able to get into any institute of higher learning. Yes, they are morons. But then, so is the President of the University. I doubt that he could have written a four page, single spaced, essay.

Good idea, everyone might learn something valuable about the TRUE history of our nation.

Let me re-phrase that statement! Maybe SOME of them MIGHT learn something!
