Land of fools

03 Jul

It was reported today that we have 92,120,000 people out of work, and not looking for work.  That the number of Americans 16 and older who did not participate in the labor force climbed to a record high of 92,120,000 in June, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

That is up (over a two month period) 111,000 from the 92,009,000 Americans who were not participating in the labor force.  There are two, but really only one conclusion that can be reached from this data.

The first is that at this rate (660,000 or 7.1% increase in new unemployed per year), by the year 2020 (a little more than five years) this number will increase to a little over 130 million people not working, and not looking for work, in this country.  There were 139,415,000 jobs in Nov 2010, and that number has most likely decreased since then.  This translates to approximately the same number of eligible, able bodied, people choosing to not work as there are people who are actively engaged in our workforce.

The second is that those same 130 million ‘scab’ Americans, (along with their lazy family members) will have no place to go when their vaunted government determines it can no longer support them.  In the meanwhile,

“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.” – Benjamin Franklin

“It is my principle that the will of the majority should prevail.  If they approve the proposed constitution in all its parts, I shall concur in it cheerfully, in hopes that they will amend it whenever they shall find it works wrong.  This reliance cannot deceive us, as long as we remain virtuous.” –Thomas Jefferson

Jefferson warned us, with a caveat that we must remain “virtuous”.  How can we be consider virtuous when we steal from our neighbors?

A lazy, uninspired, and uneducated people such as we have today cannot help but fail in a most miserable way.  We are primed by our own greed and self-deceit for destruction.  As Jefferson put it, when discussing the debt of one generation upon the next, that these things are,

“…axioms also pregnant with salutary consequences.” – Thomas Jefferson to Thomas Earle, 1823

“That our Creator made the earth for the use of the living and not of the dead; that those who exist not can have no use nor right in it, no authority or power over it; that one generation of men cannot foreclose or burthen its use to another, which comes to it in its own right and by the same divine beneficence; that a preceding generation cannot bind a succeeding one by its laws or contracts; these deriving their obligation from the will of the existing majority, and that majority being removed by death, another comes in its place with a will equally free to make its own laws and contracts; these are axioms so self-evident that no explanation can make them plainer; for he is not to be reasoned with who says that non-existence can control existence, or that nothing can move something. They are axioms also pregnant with salutary consequences.”

Are we are now at the point in our Republic where we cannot succeed, and are what we are witnessing today not the “salutary consequences” of which Jefferson wrote?

I have never seen this before now, sobering thoughts. Mr. Jefferson would probably have a stroke today if he could spend about a week visiting the country he helped get started. Or any of the Founders for that matter.

I have said this for several years and we are still here, but I don’t see how we can go much longer from an economic standpoint. I am amazed! ‘Rat, the figures you present are staggering, this is fully half the adults of this nation. They are like wild animals in a feeding frenzy demanding more without any thought of tomorrow. Only thinking of their own wants, nothing or anyone else matters.

I think I know how that dimwit George Custer must have felt the last few minutes of his self-serving narcissistic existence! Many of us are feeling despair, frustration and anger in the extreme but we will go down fighting for a good life that we believe in. We have no options, having to make this choice has been forced on us. But I’m okay with that, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I will not exist in a communist environment.

“Better dead than Red” as people used to say!

The working people are fighting an uphill battle, and the Kenyan seems to want it this way. He does believe in slavery at all!

I agree, I believe this is the ultimate goal of the regime. To take control of business/manufacturing and the entire infrastructure that supports commerce (already in place by Executive Order). Then enslave everyone and assign them to various jobs. Travel, if allowed, would be strictly monitored and controlled as would any sort of communication. In fact the technology and machinery for that has been in place and working to a large degree already. Many of those that are not initially imprisoned in “FEMA Camps” or murdered will be summarily executed for violation of the aforementioned crimes against the State.

All the “sheeple” that survive the final stage of the takeover will be put to work, told where to go, when and what they can and can not do. The “can not do” list will be a heck of a lot longer. But never fear, everyone will have obamacare and food stamps…what more could a citizenry want?!

Oh, I almost forgot, there will be NO crime because the regime will confiscate all firearms. Is that just too cool or what?!

        Kiss my ass Comrade Kenyan.

Our high yellow friend. There will be 100 million less citizens in the country by the time that happens. Most will be his supporters. Mexico wins.

I fear you may be right my brother. Think back of all the infamous dictators of the past and how many people were exterminated when they took over. Snot rags like Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, Hitler, etc, they killed MILLIONS of people in their countries. There are some here in America that will not be missed (the “useful idiots” as they are known by the Communists) but most will sadly be Patriotic Americans.

Why should we be so bold as to presume it will not happen here in America? Out of necessity there must be a “cleansing” of the population in the minds of the communists. Exactly the same thing that we should be doing to rid ourselves of every trace of this blight on our land.

Mexico may even get most of the south west and get it back for FREE after we payed them $18.25 million dollars for about 525,000 acres all those years ago. We paid only 15 million for 828,000 acres in the Louisiana Purchase! So Mexico got a much better deal than France, I don’t know what they are bitching about!!

I have heard talk and read about the people of Mexico being pissed for many years about the United States whipping them fair and square in the war then taking the land in exchange for excusing their debts to American taxpayers. Well the Mexican gov’t agreed to it according to my understanding. Obviously the Mexicans have been told we stole it or snookered them out of it! If anybody pulled the wool over the eyes of the Mexican people it was their own government.

Yep. Although Federalists like John Quiincy Adams thought it to be an unjust war, and it may have been, it was war none the less. And they lost. So sorry, but to the victor go the spoils. Still, I have a feeling that the Kenyan will try to repay the Mexicans for the temporary use of their citizens, by giving that land back to them. Minus Texas, of course. They will still have to take it from us. Nothing has changed there.

Yep, with two countries fighting for the same piece of real estate some one has to lose, it just happened to be Mexico. I can not argue with John Q. Adams’ logic, what was the point in it?! In fact, as far as I’m concerned Mexico can have California back IF they will keep the idiots that are living there now, and good luck with that. They will need it trying to live in Looney Land with all the regulations that the rest of the country got hit with over the years and nobody really wants or needs.

I would not be the least bit surprised if the Kenyan tried that, it’s about the only stupid thing he hasn’t done as yet!

I doubt that you will be encouraging him here. Still, I would not be surprised. He has enough people watching us here for your post to get back to him.

Good, then I have another message for him…Kenyan, the American People are going to kick your administrations’ asses and make the entire world take notice.

    How’s that ‘rat?!
