Court rules that non-Muslims can’t say Allah

23 Jun

Beyond stupid…

Malaysia’s top court on Monday upheld a government ban forbidding non-Muslims from using “Allah” to refer to God.

Malaysia Allah Disput_Cham.jpg

Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah!

But why (?) would anyone (?) want (?) to address Satan?

This is almost as stupid as our own government encouraging (arming) and importing (immigration) terrorism, covering for extremism (calling it workplace violence), and denying Christianity in the military.  At least Malaysia is a Mooslim country.

The last time I looked, we are not.

Even though the Kenyan might be one.

Nice to see them admit their god is not the God.

This is very true, but if they have their way, their “god” will be ours. As the old saying goes…”in a pigs’ eye it will”, not in our house.

What Militia points out to us (when I read it closer) is that these fools actually ARE admitting their little Allah god is NOT God.

Yeah it does isolate their “god”. Maybe they unwittingly do this because they are poorly educated damned dimwits.

“The term Allāh is derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- “the” and ilāh “deity, god” to al-lāh meaning “the [sole] deity, God” (ὁ θεὸς μόνος, ho theos monos).[12] Cognates of the name “Allāh” exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic.[13] The corresponding Aramaic form is Alah (אלה), but its emphatic state is Alaha (אלהא). It is written as ܐܠܗܐ (ʼĔlāhā) in Biblical Aramaic and ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ (ʼAlâhâ) in Syriac as used by the Assyrian Church, both meaning simply “God”.[14] Biblical Hebrew mostly uses the plural (but functional singular) form Elohim (אלהים), but more rarely it also uses the singular form Eloah (אלוהּ). In the Sikh scripture of Guru Granth Sahib, the term Allah (Punjabi: ਅਲਹੁ) is used 37 times.[15]”

Allah is a generic term like the English god, Arabic Christians in the middle east use Allah in the way we use God. Muslims have no actual name for god, so they only use the generic. What this court ruling is saying is that the islamic definition of god is the only one.

“What this court ruling is saying is that the islamic definition of god is the only one.”

Except that’s not what the court ruled. Not even close.

They made it clear, to prevent conversion, no one but Mohammedans can use the word to refer to their deity.

That’s fine by me, of course, as the Mohammedan deity is not God and no Christian should ever even speak the name of a god, Exodus 23:13

How should Arab Christians refer to God? A better question is why Malaysians would use Allah rather than a Malaysian word.

This is a battle over language like we see here when the liberals hijack a word to their own ends, “rights,” for example, becomes entitlements in their usage. I’m sure you’re correct that it is intended to prevent conversion, but we both know it won’t work.

They are inbred. I will put up more on this later.

OK We understand that, but do they? And we’ve mentioned it more times on this blog than the entire Sikh scripture of Guru Granth Sahib did. And that is good! So much for their new edict… Their collective intelligence (or lack thereof) is due to all of the in-breeding that took place long ago. When the Jews wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. They were the bunch who lagged behind. Now we know where the Muslims came from.

I recognize only one God. Somebody in this world is going to be sorely disappointed!

I tend to agree with Militia on this one.
