Multiple Cops Shot, One Killed in No Knock Raid

14 May

We live in a country where the citizenry are armed. If it’s the middle of the night and you hear someone busting through your front door, and if you exercise your 2nd Amendment rights by owning a firearm, your first reaction is going to be to draw that firearm to protect yourself and your family.

If you do that when a burglar or worse is breaking into your house to possibly cause harm to you and your family and property, then you’ve done the wise thing. That’s called self-defense.

During the commission of these no knock raids, many innocent people have been gunned down. Children and pets have been shot and killed all across the nation. Elderly people who attempted to protect themselves have been slain in their homes and officers later found out they weren’t even in the right homes to begin with.

When the officers do it, it’s considered their “duty”; they were just doing their jobs when someone’s eight-year-old accidentally gets killed during a raid. On the other hand, when the average citizen fires under what they thought was the guise of self-defense on people they did not know were officers for breaking into their homes unannounced in the middle of the night, well…those people get charged with capital murder.

Killeen, Texas resident Marvin Louis Guy is currently being held at the Killeen City Jail on a $3 million bond for opening fire on a Killeen Tactical Response Unit and a Central Texas Organized Crime Unit that jointly descended on his home at 5:30 in the morning without knocking first to serve a narcotics search warrant last Friday.  Read more here.

Multiple officers were hit. Detective Charles Dinwiddie later died from his injuries.

While police may refer to this as a “dynamic entry,” it really just seems like a dumb idea — especially in Texas — or at the very least, a bad idea for a gang of armed men to break in through someone’s window at the crack of dawn and not expect a response in-kind.

The cop was killed because he was shot in the face.  He was shot in the face because he was trying to crawl through these people’s window while they were sleeping like a common criminal would.

And why is all this deemed necessary over some drugs?  No one’s life was in immediate danger here.  It begs the question why these officers couldn’t have waited for this man to leave his apartment to go to the grocery store to arrest him, because certainly that would have happened at some point. Now one of those officers had to die over it. Was it worth it?

Is it ever worth it?

The current regime (and specifically our current racist AG) needs to reverse the law when it comes to these illegal searches, or face having the blood of more dead cops on their hands.  Our founders were very wise men.  Perhaps our current lawmakers should remember this quote:

“That no free Government, or the blessing of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.” ~ Patrick Henry

This may be the trend in the future. People are not going to wake up in the middle of the night and ask some shadowy figure if they are a cop or a burglar! There is no time for that crap. Marvin Guy did exactly what everyone should do, open fire. If you are not a common criminal then shame on your rained-on-ass. Either you knock, or simply should have stay at home that morning.

A “no knock warrant”…what the hell is that? Simply a “license” to indiscriminately kill the occupants of the residence/building if the uniformed wanna-be cops deem it so? These dumb asses better wake up or there will be lots of openings for officers in departments all across the country…HELLO STUPID…this isn’t the way it is supposed to be done in America. Only a twisted view of the Constitution could produce the thought that such behavior is legal.

Maybe instead of jailing Marvin Guy, the authorities in the Killeen area should employ him as a tactics instructor. Whoever trained the Killeen Tactical Response Unit and the Central Texas Organized Crime Unit obviously didn’t do very well, or the members are slobbering dimwits. Or both! They surprised a man in the early morning hours and he reacts and takes out five trained men, what a bunch of DUDS.

    You really shine boys!

As an afterthought, I would like to point out that of approximately over 50 comments on this article virtually ALL of them (unless I missed any) had negative comments about the action of these uniformed barbarians.

This is a sad testament to the state of affairs in this country. But from what I have been seeing lately it appears We the People are starting to fight back, it’s about time! So all of you Oath Breakers better read the handwriting on the wall, Honor your Oath by getting on the correct side of the REAL LAW.

When you dance to the music, you have to pay the fiddler. And it may cost you more than you are willing to pay.

I’m sure that fool wasn’t planning on never going home again. Good for him. And the fools that were with him. I hope they keep the image in their heads for the rest of their lives. They caused it.

Many are not wanna-be cops. They are wanna-be military Rambo’s.

Soffitrat I agree with both comments. A person reaps what they sow, and if they survive they must live with that the rest of their lives. Trouble is, there are a few that doesn’t care and continues along the same evil road.

The terrible reality of it is, those type are in a certain mind-set (tyrants & killers), they have been brainwashed to believe we are their enemy and they must not hesitate to use lethal force. We must strive to be determined to stand up to them and fight back at all costs or our chances of survival are minimized.

    “They are wanna-be military Rambo’s.”

Yeah, I think they have been watching too many Rambo & Robocop movies!

We don’t vet our applicants (to the schools and academies) well enough. They will take anyone who has the money. Hence, we end up with many that are not, and never will be qualified. Most are too fat (obese) and over weight. On the other end of the spectrum are the one’s we are discussing here. The wanna-be Rambo’s. Those usually have IQ’s in the range of sub-80. Having not learned much in school but are easily brainwashed and conditioned to think as you describe. I’m including many Chief’s, Captain’s, LT’s, and other administration people with those as well.

You hit the nail on the head with that one ‘rat! For several years after I left “the job” and keeping in contact with fellow Officers we had discussions on the very same subject.

The last Sheriff I worked for did not allow any line officers to be over weight, he gave them a certain amount of time to get into shape then moved them into office jobs if they didn’t make it. If that didn’t suit them, they had the option of voluntarily resigning with a clean record.

No more donut shop commandos! They couldn’t catch their shadow if they had to and was more of a liability to the taxpayers than an asset.

It’s gotten worse, not better. The rambo types are, in many cases, lunatics. The slugs are even worse than when you discussed them. Fat boys and girls. Mexicans who don’t understand our laws. Academies don’t get either group nearly where they need to be before they turn them out onto our streets. Chief’s are another subject. Most just want to hang onto their jobs and give their people way too much leeway. Hardly any of them respect the citizenry. They really do think that the people are their enemies and all criminals.

What are you thinking?
