Rep. Dingell, longest-serving congressman, to retire

Michigan Democratic Rep. John Dingell, who was first elected to Congress in 1955 to fill a seat his father had held, says he will not seek re-election

Elected in 1964, the 87-year-old Democrat scalawag has served in the House since 1955, when he filled the seat vacated by his late father (1894-1955).  He is expected to make the announcement Monday.  His old man died in 1955.  Michigan has not had a chance since 1933.  The year before Bonnie & Clyde were shot down in Louisiana.

    Now we gotta pay this buffoon for the rest of his days. Term limits and a straight salary with no more retirement crap is what I believe our answer to this should be. No more “career” politicians.. This is costing taxpayers BILLIONS of dollars, yet these humanoids in DC want to cut the Armed Forces budget to the bone and kick a large number of them out.

    The 2010 retirement costs reflect the priority of the regime;

    Fed employees (including politicians) $76.2 Billion
    Military $50.4 Billion

    These people in Washington are no better than Bonnie and Clyde in my opinion, and deserve no better treatment.

      LOL! I hadn’t thought about the correlation. But you’re right, Danny. I’d rather have those two than the one’s we’ve got.

        At least they were as sneaky, they were right up front about what they did! Not like a lying back-stabbing cowardly politician.
