Words to heed

24 Oct

“My God! How little do my countrymen know what precious blessings they are in                                         possession of, and which no other people on earth enjoy!”   ~Thomas Jefferson

A few of us seem to have lost this sentiment somewhere along the way.  They might ought to take a look in the mirror and admit their defects of character, if only to themselves.  And then move to correct them before it is too late to do so.

This statement attributed to Mr. Jefferson is, in my opinion, his best! I believe it sums up the primary reason, better than any other, for the horrid condition this nation, apathy. Over the years we have always been physically safe because, in part, of our location (isolated between two oceans) and our second to NONE Armed forces. Americans at some point in time began to take all this for granted while at the same time evil forces infiltrated our government, schools, churches and work places to bring about adverse change.

Yep…Mr. Jefferson hit the nail on the head with this statement.

One group (Progressives) are taking out military down. Piece by piece. Clinton spent time in Russia, so he thinks he liked them. The hayseed bastard child, whose own father said he couldn’t even pump gasoline in his station up in Hope! Whose own brother said he has a nose like a vacuum cleaner. And who spends mucho vacation time at the ex-Presidente’s case down in Columbia every year. Both he and Hillary. Then there is the Kenyan, with his own belief system. Totally Marxist. So, the NFL can’t hit and must wear pink, and the citizen soldiers are being feminized. The oceans won’t protect us any longer, and the people have been dumbed down into apathy. We are due for (and deserve) a house cleaning.
