Is this the month?

18 Jul

Dio and I have been waiting for years.  Expecting at any time a financial collapse.  This could, very well, be the month.  With news out of Europe pouring in like never before, we may well expect this to be the month we’ve been fearing would come.

Among the items of importance in the news today are:

England, where we got our freedom from, is not cutting it.

They have decided to part ways from Bernanke, our criminal bankster, by reducing their version of QE.

Italy looks bleak.

With no end in sight.

The EU has decided to give up the ghost.

And if this wasn’t bad enough, little Greece is getting worse too.

And China owns more of us than ever!

We are use to seeing one or two items of concern.  There always seems to be one or two ‘hot’ items, but, not this many at one time.  This has been going on for most of this week.  Things are just getting worse.

If Europe goes, we go.  I’d give us no more than 60 days.  Stay tuned to CNBC business ‘news’ sites from around the world.  Build this into your daily routine.  We can no longer get the news we need from our domestic sources.  They only want to divert us with the black thug, Trayvon Martin.   Bernanke keeps lying to our faces, and the media is complicit.

They know what they’re doing.  Do we?  It’s coming apart, my friends.  Be ready.  Keep your vehicles fueled at all times and don’t panic.

rat: I think we may have 18 months to two years but ever since Cyprus I have been working as if TSHTF tommorow! I just ordered a small wood camp stove like Dio has in his RV in case I don’t get enough time to install the the new wood stove in the house. I’m two weeks ahead on most bills, seven cords of wood will be delivered on Monday. Every “payday” I pay bills first thing then take the rest of the cash out of the credit union so I can pay cash for all my expenses.

I’m feeling at peace that I have done all that I can to be ready, but that doesn’t mean I will ever stop working to become self-reliant.

Good for you. I am about to cut a 100′ tall oak down that died last summer. I don’t need it, ut I know plenty who do. 18 months is too far. IMHO. 🙂

rat : my gift for forecasting is sadly lacking as I thought it would crash in the fall of 2011. So now I just do my best to set my goals but try to have a backup just in case the SHTF at anytime.

Cash will be king for a short time after a collapse at least it has been in countries that have suffered a collapse through history.

All of our gift of forecasting has been miserable. The signs that are coming forth, are not coming from within our country, but from without. Our Government and it’s Press is never going to tell us the truth. Until they either have to or when it no longer matters.

You are right about that Jamie, the cash had “value” because the ones exchanging it accepted it among themselves.

Sort of like diamonds! Some people look at them as merely a rock that is mined and polished, others place great value on them.

It stinks big time that we have come to this but we have to do what we can and suck up the rest. We have a wood burning stove and a heater, solar panels (which I am not using at the moment), oil lamps, medical supplies and dry goods for many months of use. The list goes on but you get the picture! Not as much as I want to put up but we are constantly working on that! We are fortunate in that we have some land in the country so a garden and wild game/fish is our “ace in the hole”.

Still things will be tough, forcing on all of us a major change in life style we must get accustomed to. A lot more people will look to the “government” to support them in this manufactured crisis. Those type are prone to doing so anyway and will be of no use to those of us trying to make it on our own. In fact I believe many of them will be a hindrance…even a threat to our existence.

Removing cash from the bank when it is no longer useful after each pay period is a good idea Jamie, we have been encouraging our family to do the same, they aren’t listening! Oh well. The currency will probably be worthless but I would rather it be worthless at my house than in the pockets of someone else! It would probably come up “missing” as it did in the crash of the 30’s if left in the banks.

You can always use it for toilet paper. Or keep it for 100 years. It might numismatically be worth something by then.

Yep…when we run out of dollar bills, which will be pretty quickly, we can revert to our toilet paper stash!

I honestly don’t know how we have lasted as long as we have, seems something else is going on. Why are they taking so long to administer the coup de grâce?

They, like King George did, will bleed us for just as long as we allow. They weaken us more and more every day. Blacks and illiterate progressives (by default) in this country are playing into their hands. Those are the ones who will have the greatest casualty rates. Their sufferings, though well deserved, will be immeasurable.

Those that have the most to lose will lose the most.

The cleansing is coming. I pray for us. God bless.

Absolutely, Pickdog. I command my own that includes some 650 souls, and growing. It takes all time and efforts. The burdens are light compared to the measure that is heading our way. That said, yes, we need prayers. All of us…
