The Quote of the Decade

23 Feb

“The  fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of  leadership failure.  It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own  bills.  It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance  from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal  policies.  Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and  internationally.  Leadership means that, ‘the buck stops here.’   Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs  of our children and grandchildren.  America has a debt problem and a  failure of leadership.  Americans deserve better.

~ Barack Hussein Obama (the Kenyan), March 2006

IT’S GEORGE BUSHS’ FAULT! Everybody knows that!

I really believe when useful idiots like Comrade Kenyan say these things they hope Americans do not remember their words, or maybe they forgot they said them…or maybe it’s both!

    Or things like:

I will not raise your taxes!
    You can keep you insurance!

I am of the thoughts that truth no longer matters in the ‘real world’. Quotes such as the above only reinforce that observation.

As Ayn Rand stated “You can ignore reality, but you can’t ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”
I think that those consequences are fast approaching this administration.

That use to be my tag line on OK’s. I gladly give it up to you. Rand was right! And so are you. The only thing true about this statement is that Americans deserve better.
