What is going on?

Dio’s Workshop led me to the Patriot’s Corner article, which spurs much imagination regarding the path the Kenyan and his minions are trying to take America down.  Could any of this be true?  Could even part of it be true?  If so, it makes me wonder why our military has not taken action against what can only be a regime.  The United States is no longer working as a Democracy, let alone a Representative Republic.  We have already witnessed case after case where the rule of law is not applied to the self-appointed ‘elite’, or the outright passage of illegal laws has blatantly occurred.  Will it take blood in our streets before the military acts to usurp this corrupt small group of would-be tyrants?  While I don’t like to see dead children in our school houses, twenty something children will be of no importance, when compared to the thousands that will die as a result of civil uprisings.  A Civil War is even possible, if our military does not take steps to remove this tyranny against our Constitution.  Remember.   The Constitution is the supreme law of this land, and ever shall be.  Nothing less will be tolerated.  We lost one such potential leader this week.  As America enters the next stage in our struggle for liberty and our pursuit of happiness, he will be sorely missedDo not give up your guns.  Store up for the coming tribulation.

    It is doubtful, in my opinion, our military will ever initiate such a move, I just don’t see it happening. Will they stand with us, protect us if all “goes south”? I think it is highly probable that many of the armed forces will. At least I’m hoping they will!

    But I fear our beautiful country will one day look like Europe in 1945. To get a sense for what it may be like in most cities, think back to the riots we have seen in California.

    And no utilities, no groceries, no gasoline/diesel, totally worthless currency and in their search
    for the creature comforts unrest will spill over into the suburbs, then eventually into the rural areas….where you and I live. Most people will just be destroying and looting because of anger
    and frustration. Basically because they are useless, welfare breeding, assholes and it’s in their nature to use up or destroy the property of “capitalist pigs”. Others will be stealing to feed their hungry children. Regardless of their motives…all these people will be desperate and extremely dangerous.

    Mix this in with the regime and their brown shirts with their HK MP5’s, sniper rifles, armored cars, night vision devices, drones, helicopters, ballistic vests and millions of rounds of Hollow Point ammo (for target practice!) and what do we have. A combination of TERMINATOR, RED DAWN, and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET all rolled into one. Blood in the streets, homes, and businesses of AMERIKA. Schools, utility companies, and churches burned down. Then there will be the curfews, late night WARRANTLESS raids/searches and traffic check points, people by the thousands being rounded up, classified as “domestic terrorists” and locked away somewhere…well you get the picture! A nightmare of mind-boggling proportions is on the way.

    But…other than that, I think things will be okay.

      I don’t know, Danny. It may come to what you describe. On the other hand, it might be contained to a few surgical assassinations of our so-called ‘high ranking’ officials. People (or their families, or both) in key positions. Hopefully, we will be able to contain this to that. It would be the best thing that could happen if we can limit this to just some riots, putting down of the most radical among us, elimination of gangs. That sort of thing. However, for that to happen, our military must simply stand down and let this play out. Much like the Egyptian military has done to date.

        You may very well be right Soffitrat, I honestly hope you’re scenario is closer to the real thing than mine. But I think any civil unrest in a few large cities will bring about a domino effect across the country. Some with good intentions, some will get in on the act just to satisfy their selfishness and thirst for blood. Yeah, this would be a good time for the citizens to start cleaning out the rat nests of gangs since “government” at county, state and federal levels, in my opinion, are deliberately unwilling to stop them! I also believe this is designed to be the catalyst for imposing martial law or some other means of controlling the population. It seems everything brought out the past several years points to this…Patriot Act, NDAA, FEMA camps, militarization of police agencies and the list goes on. The fact we have a Department of Homeland inSecurity speaks volumes. What the hell is this agency for, that under normal circumstances, the police or military could not do? We must keep in mind that any time a regime (I detest using the word ‘government’ anymore) creates an agency that duplicates the duties of another agency, something is terribly wrong. These duplications have been going on for many years and they are not mistakes even though their purposes may be different. I feel ALL of them are for the purpose of creating an economic burden on the system thereby causing it’s collapse or controlling the dissenting population.

        But then we have to go back to what CC said at the beginning of this thread…”The military will take its orders from the Kommander in Chief”. Many of them will blindly follow his orders but the question is, will enough members of our armed forces adhere to their OATH to make a difference? And to take this even further, will any like-minded civilian officials step forward to reinstate our most sacred documents and thus a Constitutional Republic? Who can we trust in all this mess? I firmly believe there are some (admittedly damn few) on The Hill that would do what is right except they are fearful of imprisonment or mysteriously disappear if they openly defy the regime.

        This is when things would be very chaotic and one wrong (illegal) move by one person would drive home the final nail in the coffin and we would be irretrievably lost. Nothing would save us then. I do not believe we have reached that point yet. But…I’ve been wrong many times before!

    CC I agree with you, a coup is very dangerous and not what I want to see either. But I still think we may get some help from many of our Military because they think like we do. Some of them are thinking, “Constitutional Republic” hopefully!

      That is essentially the same thing I linked to, that Soffitrat linked to in this post. Scary stuff, but amazingly, reading it instilled a sense of calm to my spirit. I don’t think we have that much time before things start to get insane, and that, while I know it sounds ‘nutz’, fills me with hope that people such as myself and Soffitrat will have a chance at correcting the issues we see now.
      Lets be honest, none of us is getting any younger, and the longer this mess is drawn out, the more likely it is that it will not be correctable because those that know what freedom entails will be gone.
      Do i ‘want’ this come about? Not really, but if it is going to, let it be on my watch, not my grand-daughters.

    Dio, I’m in total agreement with all points of yours. I don’t want to pass on a fight to my four grandchildren, I want to pass the torch of Liberty to them. We all want our kids and grandkids to own property and prosper from their efforts with no intervention by government. You hit the nail on the head about this mess being drawn out Dio. In that scenario our great grandchildren would be reading in the “history books” about how we misguided fools in the past ruined this country with the selfishness and greed of capitalism. And how the regime saved us from ourselves.
