OK, we get it…!

17 Dec

There was a shooting in Connecticut.

It appears as though our news media (Pravda) is going to beat this thing to death.

…and then some.

It ain’t workin though.  I still don’t have any of their anticipated feelings of guilt.  If you do, then you are probably a part of the problem.

Enough already!

Life belongs to the living.

    Yup, to the living!
Live it well, even with the current run on trying to turn our country of the ‘free’ into the country of the Inmate.
Oops, I forgot, we are already there. But I digress

How many children have died since this took place? In Chicago alone?

I don’t know the numbers but I could hazard a guess that at least as many went to the hospital with gunshot wounds, over the weekend in Chicago alone. Throw in Detroit, Cincinnati, and Atlanta and that number will go up even more.
There are some places (one of which I lived in and can state for the record) where Black on Black shootings are defined as “simple assault” or sumsuch to keep the statistics from going through the roof. Makes for a ‘nicer community’ for tourist reasons. This applies even if there is a death involved. ESPECIALLY, if they can’t find out who shot the corpse, they modify the stated cause of death. I saw one such while working at the hospital where the cause of death was listed as ‘Blunt trauma’ I guess 8 holes in the center mass could be considered pretty blunt and traumatic, so it stuck.

Our problem isn’t the laws on the books, its the manipulation of how they are applied, or not. Getting a gun is easy, anyone can do it within a few hours and you can buy pretty much anything that the world market has for sale, including full auto stuff AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH A BACKGROUND CHECK. How do they think they are getting guns in Chicago? Certainly not through ‘Permitted outlets’. The only question is how much are you willing to pay?
(actually, the problem is in the laws, but only in part. Media and Progressive brainwashing are the other parts.)
No, the problem is a society that has weakened to the point of wanting someone else to do the dirty work of protection. As the saying goes, when seconds count, a cop is minutes away.

“…keep the statistics from going through the roof.” You are right on target there Dio. I witnessed this take place in the jurisdiction I worked in! Central Louisiana was rated in the FBI statistics one year (I think it was 1993) as having the highest per capita murder rate that year in the country.
When the local media published those figures the business and political types in the Alexandria-Pineville area went ballistic! The big cry went up…how are we going to be successful in drawing tourists and business into our area with this kind of publicity? Well, over the next few days there was a scramble for damage control, priority was set….Fix this or say something to refute these figures or this will have a terrible economic impact on our area!

And getting guns, you are right sir. If you know who to contact and have the money you can get anything you want…ANYTHING. But you better have some DEEP pockets!

Why, I think you’re writing about unintended consequences! Of an entitlement society.

In a way, I am writing about such. And there are many that would rather someone else to get their hands dirty, than take the time to do for themselves. Doesn’t matter if that is self protection or food gathering. Most people have lost the ability to take care of themselves and it seems to be by design of our current progressive mindset that is so prevalent. Luckily, most of that is captured in larger cities, but by no means all of it. There is a reason Ol’ Remus tells us to stay away from crowds and cities.

You are so right. What I saw in Dallas only confirms what you say. Around the hospital districts, I can see the slackers. Those I would expect to be defenseless. However, even the suburbs are filled with the same, target rich environment. They act like they are prepping (some of them), but even those are of the hopeless variety. It is a hopeless situation for them. I just don’t see any survivors in our major cities. You know what that equates to? What I am suggesting? A Southern city, good climate, no union punks, mobile, a desire to survive, gun owners, “preppers”. All dead? What does that say about your Northern cesspools?

Hey, I lay zero claim to the cesspools here or down there. DFW is nearly as bad as Cincy and with more people. Funny, where I am, I don’t even see the glow of cities on the horizon at night, so no way am I getting into that “cities” trouble.

It seems to me as though the cities will soon be like “Escape From New York”, except they will be free to roam the country side. Not a good thing for many of us.

“The media rarely mention the mass murders that were thwarted by armed citizens at the Shoney’s Restaurant in Anniston, Ala. (1991), the high school in Pearl, Miss. (1997), the middle-school dance in Edinboro, Penn. (1998), and the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colo. (2007), among others.”

“At the Clackamas Mall in Oregon last week, an active shooter murdered two people and then saw that a shopper, who had a handgun carry permit, had drawn a gun and was aiming at him. The murderer’s next shot was to kill himself.”

    http://sistertoldjah.com/archives/2012/12/21/about-that-armed-deputy-at-columbine/

We are seeing more lies (what’s new right?) coming from the anti-gun useful idiots. Now they are saying armed guards at schools will not prevent murders…AMAZING! Well, what’s amazing is many people will buy off on this crap. Some have written/said in the past that the armed officer at Columbine was useless. How many MORE would have died that day had that guard not been there.
We all want everyone to be saved from harm in these situations, but that doesn’t happen. We all would like to see, after a motor vehicle accident, everyone climb out of the wreckage unharmed and go shopping for another ride, but that doesn’t always happen.

When we see these totally unreasonable statements, no, I should have said totally STUPID statements made by useful idiot dumbasses such as…armed guards will not work… that should tell most people these anti gunners are in it for ONE reason. Echoing the sentiments of the communist regime..” lets get rid of all guns because we fear an armed citizenry and this is a good excuse.”

I understand that each of us knows the reason behind “gun control”, it is solely for “people control” and has nothing to do with stopping crime. But there is still folks out there that think this is simply the best and only method of stopping the slaughter going on in this country.

Look, it is obvious that the queers throughout the nation don’t know why they hate guns. Most are afraid of their own shadows, while some just have friends or college professors who told them what to think. A relative few actually try to put together some coherent argument regarding guns and the laws. Even then, they are unsuccessful in doing so. We are by and large a nation of uneducated idiots. The Village Green is SRO with them.
